It is pretty tough to get much sweeter than this guy! Buddy is an amazing dog who will make a great addition to a loving family. He is a very affectionate, gentle, Velcro lab who is highly motivated to please. He gets along well with other dogs, cats, and children. He is timid around new people, but is gaining confidence each day. Despite living his life outdoors, he has learned house training like a pro and knows basic commands. Buddy has a history of being in an overcrowded outdoor home, and he was very thin when he first came to rescue. He has some resource guarding with other dogs, so this will need to be a consideration for potential adoptive families. Buddy is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and treatment for hip pain and skin problems. If you are interested in fostering Buddy while we get him back to health, please contact us. The rescue covers all medical expenses for foster dogs.
